Rajesh, Since 1969
Our Legacy
WELCOME TO THE HOME OF THE KING OF THE KITCHEN.
⋅ Since 1969
MADE FOR THE INDIAN KITCHEN.
FOR GENERATIONS.
OUR
ROOTS
Rajesh was already an established cookware name when Mr. Bhavarlal Parmar acquired the business and its factory in Bhayander, Mumbai, in 1975.
At the time, Rajesh was primarily manufacturing pressure cookers. The Rajesh name and King of the Kitchen identity were already established, giving Mr. Parmar a foundation upon which to build the company’s next chapter.
Before Rajesh, Mr. Parmar came from a background in automobile manufacturing through Mahindra Metal. He brought that manufacturing experience into cookware, together with a principle that would remain central as Rajesh grew: quality was never to be compromised.
From Bhayander, operations later shifted to Jogeshwari near Patel Estate, followed by further manufacturing operations at Tellapur, near the Palghar district.
As the business expanded, Rajesh built an increasingly strong presence across Maharashtra. Pune, Nashik, Satara and Aurangabad became important markets, alongside a growing presence in western Gujarat.
By around 1980, Rajesh had entered what Mr. BH Parmar is remembered as one of the defining periods in the company’s growth.
For generations, Rajesh has had a place in the Indian kitchen. Kitchens have changed. The way India cooks has evolved. Our cookware has evolved with it. But one thing has remained at the heart of Rajesh: a belief that quality should never be compromised.
From pressure cookers to cookware made for the kitchens of today, every chapter has carried forward the same name, the same crown and the same commitment.
Welcome to Rajesh.
King of the Kitchen.
The Rajesh Story Begins.
A name takes shape.
The story of Rajesh begins in 1969. From its earliest years, the name would become associated with cookware for the Indian kitchen and an identity that continues to define the brand today: King of the Kitchen.
